The Sarawak English Literacy Conference (SELC) 2025 is a groundbreaking event dedicated to strengthening English literacy and STEM learning in Sarawak and Malaysia. This is the first conference of its kind in Sarawak and Malaysia.
Organised by the Layar Education Development Committee (LEDC) and supported by the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Sarawak (MEITD) and Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak), SELC 2025 aims to enhance English proficiency as a key driver for education and professional development.
Taking place from 17th to 18th September 2025 at the Theatre Hotel Kuching, and on the 19th at the Old Court House, the conference will bring together educators, policymakers, and experts to discuss innovative strategies and solutions.
