Sara Wernham

Sara Wernham is a co-author of the Jolly Phonics program and a key figure in the development of the Jolly Learning literacy series. She is an experienced educator who played a crucial role in refining the Systematic Synthetic Phonics Approach to teaching early reading and writing. As a primary school teacher in the UK, Wernham worked closely with Sue Lloyd to develop and implement the Jolly Phonics methodology, which emphasises systematic phonics instruction through multi sensory learning.
