Davrell is a Renewable Energy Engineer with over 11 years of experience spanning energy policy, procurement, project development, commissioning, operations, and maintenance. Holding an MSc in Renewable Energy with a specialization in Wind Energy, he combines technical expertise with a strong background in Industrial and Systems Engineering, emphasizing continuous improvement, predictive maintenance, and circular economies. His project experience includes the design, permitting, and maintenance of 53MW of solar PV systems, along with deep involvement in energy policy development, including contributions to Grenada’s Renewable Energy Policy, National Energy Plan (NEP), and regulatory frameworks under the Electricity Supply Act.
Beyond technical implementation, Davrell has played key advisory roles, serving as a Consultant for the US Department of Energy on Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) policy and supporting Grenada’s Grid Code Development in collaboration with the World Bank. As a Local Project Manager for the Caribbean Facility for Renewable Energy, he assisted regional governments in securing financing and implementing renewable energy projects. His multidisciplinary approach integrates policy, engineering, and sustainable development, making him a versatile leader in the energy transition.
